SSI Search & Recovery

You'll be instructed on employing search patterns, specialized dive plans, and utilizing equipment such as lift bags, lines, and reels. Through honing your search and communication techniques and engaging in team dives, you'll swiftly evolve into a proficient search and rescue diver.

Upon successful completion, you'll be awarded the esteemed SSI Search & Recovery specialty certification.

The SSI Search and Recovery Course encompasses three primary phases:

Four Academic Sessions (self-paced study or classroom instruction)
One Pool/Confined Water Session
Two Open Water Dives: Here, you'll apply the knowledge and skills gained in real ocean settings to fulfill the SSI Search and Recovery Course requirements.
Maximum Training Depth: 30 meters / 100 feet
