Welcome to FlyingFish Scuba School! We're excited to offer you the SSI Open Water referral course, a fantastic opportunity for aspiring divers to kickstart their underwater adventures.
Our SSI Referral Diver program is designed to equip students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and essential pool training sessions. By completing these components, you'll gain the confidence and skills needed to dive autonomously alongside a similarly qualified buddy in pool conditions equivalent to your training.
Once you've conquered the academic and pool segments of the Open Water Diver program with us, you'll receive the prestigious Referral Diver digital card. This card signifies your readiness to embark on your open water training dives at a later time and location of your choice. Whether it's exploring the vibrant reefs of the Caribbean or the mesmerizing depths of the Pacific, you have the freedom to complete your open water dives anywhere in the world, with any SSI-affiliated dive center or resort.

During the course registration process, it is mandatory for each student to designate an SSI Training Center as their "Training Partner." This affiliation ensures that students receive personalized service and a top-tier training experience.
Students are provided with the option to alter their affiliation or opt for affiliation with multiple Training Centers within their user profile. Affiliation with a Training Center via online platforms or the MySSI App necessitates the processing of a Privacy Policy Agreement to adhere to GDPR regulations.
Training Standards:
- Minimum Age: 10
- Certification Prerequisites: Fit to swim, No certification prerequisites
- Amount of Academic Sessions: 5
- Amount of Pool/Confined Water Sessions: 5
- Maximum Training Depth: 18 m / 60 ft
- Suggested Duration (hours): 16-32
